Claire Craig is a Senior IT Officer at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus with responsibility for Enterprise Applications Support. She has a successful track record of over 20 yearsโ experience in ICT and managing multiple IT Projects. She brings to CyberSafeTT competencies in: organising, planning, communicating, training, lecturing, researching and presenting, combined with a genuine desire to develop people. This expertise has been gained working in different organisational entities in the UK, Canada, USA and Trinidad & Tobago in Finance & Banking, Manufacturing and presently the Higher Education Sector.
Claire is passionate about regional issues related to the Internet and educational administration, and is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. Program in Social Policy at SALISES, UWI where her thesis focuses on the Deployment of Internet Exchange Points in the Caribbean. Claire has authored and presented papers and reports at local, regional and international conferences on pertinent ICT issues. In addition to her work with CyberSafeTT, she is a member of the Caribbean Network Operators Group (CaribNOG), Global Communications Technology (GCT) Team of Congress WBN and holds the position of Chairperson for the Membership Committee of the Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators (ACHEA). She is also a member of the Global Internet Society and has participated at the LACNIC Conferences.
